Just a quick afternoon note between work and more wonderful work. :)\
Many of you will be happy to know that this morning we found ourselves working on the Koro farm making bricks and playing with pre-school sweeties! I wish I could upload pictures of just how filthy we are! :) All in all we made 75 bricks from start (sifting dirt, mixing it with water and cement) to finish (using a crazy brick making contraption that really should be marketed in the US as the next great workout machine). We are very thankful for our friend Jacey and Ugandan friends who are patient with us in the process. We had a lot of fun singing, working hard and laughing at ourselves. What a joy-fille dwork day!
While most of us were doing that, Shelly and our friend Rita played with the little pre-school kids at the Koro school. I am pretty sure they had the privalege of learning "Pharoah, Pharoah" from Shelly, motions and all! I wasn't there to watch it but I know that those little chilren were very loved. :)
Lindsay made it!!! She arrived (after being bumped to business class 2x, poor suffering missionary) in Gulu this afternoon and is sitting right beside me! :) She brougth one of the Hearts United players, Shira, from Kampala. Please be praying for our time with Shira as she has not come into a relationship with Jesus yet. Pray that the Spirit will call her into that life changing, life-fulfilling relationship!
We are off in about half an hour to a local remote village to do some "ministry scouting" with Aloysius. Yeah!
Thank you for all your prayers! Please be praying for our team as we continue to grow together and be unified in the Spirit. Pray for rest tonight as we have already had a long day of work and have many ahead of us. We are all healthy and happy. Praise Jesus
Peace of Christ,
Sarah (for the puffs)
